How they meet:
“Jenny and Jesse met early February 2016. Jenny recently was out of a four year relationship and wasn’t looking for anything serious when she downloaded Tinder. Jesse said he typically didn’t use Tinder regularly, but on that fateful morning, he exhausted all his other social medias and thought, ‘why not?’ as he clicked on the little fire app. When Jesse found Jenny’s profile, he recognized one of his closest friends, Michelle, in one of Jenny’s pictures. He thought she was pretty cute and with no hesitation, swiped right. Ding! He matched. After they matched, they talked all day, giggling and blushing like middle school children. That evening, they agreed to meet at Chipotle with Michelle to sneak looks at each other over their Chipotle bowls. That evening was just the beginning.
Over the course of the next three years, Jesse graduated from college with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Jenny from University of Houston College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate in pharmacy. Jesse and Jenny adopted a cat (Poki) and a dog (Milo) during their journey together (thanks to Jenny’s love for animals).”
How he asked:
“As Jenny’s pharmacy school’s graduation present, she went on a three and a half week long vacation to Asia with her friends. One of her destinations was Thailand, where Jesse popped the big question. Jesse met her in Thailand after 30 hours of traveling time, due to delays. He was exhausted, but very excited for what’s to come.
Jenny and Jesse spent the next couple of days island hopping around Thailand. If you’ve ever been to Thailand, you know that it is terribly hot and humid there. And if you’ve ever met Jesse, you know that he is prone to sun burn at even the slightest exposure. So of course, Jesse was the color of a tomato at the end despite our best efforts of applying sunscreen every few hours. On the last day of Thailand, Jesse faked wanting to stay back at the airbnb to recover from his sun burn, while Jenny and her friends went out to dinner.
Meanwhile, Jesse sprinkled rose petals on the walkway leading out to the balcony of the airbnb. On this balcony, he had a table set up with pictures of them two from the first picture they took together, everything in between, and the collage with an empty frame, where he planned on inserting their wedding picture. There were candles on the walkway as well as the table with all the pictures.
Upon return, Jenny looked for Jesse to give him the dinner she ordered to-go, and unknown to her, Jenny’s friends were running around during this time to get in position for the proposal. When Jenny eventually found Jesse, he dressed up in a suit, and was smiling. Jesse led Jenny to the balcony, where her friends were waiting with the balloons ‘marry me?’ in their hands, where he read a speech while Jenny belligerently bawled, where he got down on one knee and asked her the question that would finalize their bond forever.”
The Wedding day:
Jenny and Jesse were both very happy for the wedding day! Excited and nervous. They had fun getting ready to say “I do!” while spending quality time with ones they cared the most about. Jenny and Jesse were very laid back people. They were calm, but still energetic. And I loved that about them!
Their ceremony was really emotional. They both were tearing up reading their vows to one another – that showed me how much they cared and how they did not take their relationship for granted.
After the ceremony, it was a fun night with a lot of dancing, singing, and laughing. Everybody was so happy for Jenny and Jesse that they celebrated hard! Surrounding them both were always friends and families. They were so loved!

Houston, TX Wedding Photograper
I started my photography business purely with my passion for photography. A friend of mine asked me to do his wedding when I was in college and I fell in love. I love the emotions, the laughter, the tears, the chemistry between people in weddings.
