For someone who does not know Jason, the first thing you need to know is he is really into cars. His race car is his baby, its name is Lotus. Amy and Jason were on a Texas win country road trip with Lotus until it poured. So they had to take a bus to a different winery. They then climbed to the top of Enchanted Rock even when the park was close. “It was magical!” – said Amy. Just like that, their relationship started.
When Amy and Jason told me that they will have a backyard wedding, I was beyond excited. I love traditional venue weddings, but once in a while I like to have something more relaxing to look forward to. And their wedding day was very chilled and relaxing, just like I expected. Jason was getting ready at home while Amy was at a hotel with the girls. I was pretty sure being at home made Jason more himself. He enjoyed the time spending with his groomsmen, friends, and especially showing off Lotus to everybody. When I saw Lotus, I knew why he was so proud. It looked gorgeous! I mean, I am not into cars and I knew nothing about car. But Lotus was truly a master piece!
After getting ready, everybody headed to Friends Live Oak Meeting House – where the ceremony would be. The place was lovely with a unique interior design. The ceremony was beautiful. Amy and Jason said their vows within the witness of families and friends. I loved how Jason looked at Amy the whole time even though they had a first look before that. You could tell that they were so excited to marry one another.
After that, the reception was so much fun! Everyone just enjoyed themselves while not forgetting to congratulate the married couple. After a lot of dancing, they went out to Brash Brewing to get some drinks. It was an awesome day and even a more awesome night!

Houston, TX Wedding Photograper
I started my photography business purely with my passion for photography. A friend of mine asked me to do his wedding when I was in college and I fell in love. I love the emotions, the laughter, the tears, the chemistry between people in weddings.
