Kalen and Scott had a beautiful wedding celebration in Houston, TX at 5226 Elm, with all of their friends and family.
Their story start at Agora Coffee House in Montrose area of Houston where they first met. “Kalen (being a Houston native) took the opportunity to show Scott (a recent transplant) around town to all of her favorite spots. They bonded over good food, cocktails, live music and exploring nature. After 4 years of dating, Scott proposed to Kalen at the top of Machu Picchu.” – they told me the story.
The wedding was set for 10/10/2020. Unfortunately, COVID made everything cancelled including their wedding. They had a small ceremony on top of the mountain in San Diego with a limited number of friends and family on that day. But the big celebration had to wait.
And the big day was worth the wait. It was a rainy day in Houston. Power was out at 3pm while their ceremony was set for 4:30pm. Kalen was the last one to get her hair done so can you imagine the nervousness she must have felt at that moment? Well, I couldn’t tell if she was nervous because she was smiling the whole time. They all had fun together, eating, drinking… the celebration starts there.
The ceremony was so emotional but cute at the same time. After that, everyone had such an amazing time drinking and dancing the night away.

I started my photography business purely with my passion for photography. A friend of mine asked me to do his wedding when I was in college and I fell in love. I love the emotions, the laughter, the tears, the chemistry between people in weddings.
