Arrowhead Hill Weddings and Events
I shot a tiny wedding during COVID with Sweet Nest Photography at this gorgeous venue and I think it deserves some spotlight. Arrowhead Hill is pretty new and you can smell the new paint when walking inside. There are two main buildings: the chapel and the reception. While both of them are spacious and have very unique designs and colors compared to most of other venues, they still provide the warm and closeness feel. The bride and groom’s suites are both upstairs in the reception hall so it was very convenient to commute back and forth between the two places.
The Carriage House wedding venue in Conroe, TX is a gem among the north area of Houston.
I have worked at this beautiful venue a several times. I have always been impressed with how gorgeous the venue is and how professional the staff team are! They truly create a perfect environment for the couple as well as the guests.
I was lucky enough to have many chances working at Crystal Ballroom at The Rice. Every time I work there, I always admire the beauty of it! Even though located in busy downtown Houston, it gives out the modern and luxurious vibes. The ballroom was built in 1913 in the heart of Houston downtown within the Rice Hotel. The venue itself offers a lot of photo opportunities and the downtown area is only steps out of the venue so the chance for creativity is endless. On top of that, it is right next to the Houston Metro Rail track!
The Historic Hill House and Farm is a fairly new wedding venue located in Willis, TX. This venue is the great combination between historic charm and modern luxury. Working at this venue was a great experience for me. Not only because the staff, especially the coordinator – Claudia, was super nice and helpful, but also because the beauty of this place. The property is located on a huge lot of land, providing it with a quiet environment and farm like atmosphere. While the bridal suite is clean and white, the groom’s suit is red which adding so much characteristic to the place. The barn style reception hall are huge with two different sections, one for cocktail hour and one for reception.
Madera Estates is one of very uniques venues that I have been to. It has so many beautiful Spanish features and quite colorful. Everytime I work a wedding at this venue, I feel like the spots for photos never run out. The property is so pretty, it does not take so much effort to come up with photo ideas. Located in Conroe TX, it takes about 45 mins to get to from Downtown Houston. But trust me, it is so worth the drive. You will feel like you are taken to another country being at this venue.
Houston Museum of Natural Science – Sugar Land
Want a unique wedding venue for your wedding? Are you into science? Especially dinosaurs? Houston Museum of Natural Science is the place to host your special day! Not only they have 2 convenient location in downtown Houston and Sugar Land, they also have awesome wedding service to offer. From the staff, the scene, the outdoor area… everything screams uniqueness! Having a chance to shoot a wedding there was a dream.
