Houston Wedding Photographer | Half a Rice Studios – Wedding at Quail Valley, Missouri City, TX
The first thing Jennifer noticed in Art was he was a Dallas Cowboys fan. They met at work sitting next to each other and she was telling him how they would be best friends if he was a Cowboys fan. And they did became friends. Actually more than just friends! They had so much in common, they joked and pranked one another.
At a surprised birthday party that Art planned for Jenn, in front of closest friend and their son Xander, Art got down on one knee and popped the big question. Of course she happily said “Yes!”
Jennifer and Art had awesome personalities! When I first met them, I felt like I have known them for a long time. We were like old friends that never lost touch. They were so easy to talk to, kind and sweet people. Their beautiful kiddos, Xander and Alina were super cute!
Their wedding day was nothing but perfect! It was the last wedding I shot before Houston lockdown order from COVID-19. And fortunately, nobody got sick. Instead, it was a day full of emotion, laughters, some tears and lots of dancing. Having a family of their own, Jennifer and Art showed me how much love they can share and how family is the most important thing to them. Before the wedding a couple months, Art’s brother passed away. He did not get to attend their wedding. But I am glad that Jenn and Art will have these photos to cherish forever with other family members.

I started my photography business purely with my passion for photography. A friend of mine asked me to do his wedding when I was in college and I fell in love. I love the emotions, the laughter, the tears, the chemistry between people in weddings.
