Houston Weddings – Half a Rice Studios – Wedding at Willow Creek Ranch, San Diego, CA

I knew Nick since kinder garten in Vietnam. We were in the same neighborhood, went to the same elementary, middle school then high school. Yes, we knew each other very well!

On the other hand, I have known Ashley since my years in middle school. She was very easy to talk to and get along. When we went to the same English center, we would sit next to each other every day.

When Nick dated Ashley at the beginning of high school, I couldn’t help thinking “Wow, small world!” But not the world, really. We were all in a small town and they went to the same church. Both of them are nice and fun people to hang out with. Every time I come to San Diego, they always treat me so well. And that includes taking me around, feeding me, even letting me stay at their place.

Their wedding day was predicted to be rainy. But it was not. The weather made their special day one of the most beautiful sun shine filled day of San Diego. The grass couldn’t be greener and the birds couldn’t be happier.

Ashley and Nick both chose to have their wedding at a Catholic church. After the ceremony, we all went to Willow Creek Ranch and the celebration began! Everyone was served a big meal. They treated their guests with 7-course dinner and a huge table of desserts. On top of that was boba drinks, of course (why of course? Because most Asian are addicted to boba drinks).

The night ended after a lot of fun games, entertaining bouquet and garter tosses. Everyone had a blast and danced the night away.
