Hien & Antoine | Wedding at Kim Son, Houston TX

How they met:
The story of Hien and Antoine began in winter of 2009 when Hien’s sister, Ngan, asked Hien to go to NYC with her and some friends. Hien, at the time, had never been to NYC so she said “Yes!” Little did she know, Antoine tagged along his brother, Bao – Ngan’s friend, on the same trip. They started dating since the trip. Antoine and Hien were each other’s first girlfriend and boyfriend.
9 years later, the love birds were engaged and planned their big day together. Hien told me in that 9 years, so many things happened. From kids, they watched each other grow up to be doctor and lawyer. And there were nothing made a better ending than a magical wedding.
How he asked:
“Antoine popped the question on October 28, 2016, his 33rd birthday. That morning he picked me up from my house so we can catch our flight out to Boston to check out the fall foliage that weekend. That night, we got dressed up for dinner for our first night in Boston, and that was when he popped the question. It was just the two of us, and it felt perfect.” – told by Hien
The Wedding day:
I met Hien and Antoine twice before their official wedding day. One is for their bridal session and one for the tea ceremony. We did not talk much but we grew so close as Hien was one of the most kind person I have ever met. And Antoine was so easy to talk to and he was really gently and sweet to Hien. They are not a goofy couple, while I was so goofy, but the way they looked at each other and cared for each other really moved me. I remember how excited Hien was every time I asked Antoine to take pictures with her. And the family, man, they were so kind. Through out the night, their family kept asking if I have eaten 🙂
We had a blast at their wedding and I truly wish them both the best.
