Rachel and Chris met the modern way, online, and had their first date at an Astro game. It went until 2am the next day! Since then, they grew more and more in love. Rachel told me “Everything with Chris is so easy!” On Wednesday, 06/13/2018, Chris was making dinner while Rachel was getting ready to do some workout in the living room. He grabbed Rachel’s hand and wrapped her in his arms.
“What can I do for you?” – asked Chris knowing that Rachel had been having a few rough days.
“Just be here with me!” – Rachel replied.
“But what else can I do for you?” – Chris kept asking.
Rachel was really curious, “Like what?”
Then Chris got down on one knee and asked her to marry him while Kara and Elliott, their dogs, were jumping and licking all over him like they knew he just did something amazing.
I met Rachel at a Starbucks in a morning of June. It was Texas summer but the weather was gorgeous. Her close friend, Nicole who was also helping Rachel plan the wedding, was there as well. We talked about Rachel and Chris’s story and how they envisioned their big day. After that first meeting, boy you bet, I was so excited. Not only Rachel was so nice and sweet, and their story was amazing, but also Nicole was absolutely great to work with and I was sure they had no problem planning the wedding in such short period of time. “You will be ok!” I told Rachel.
We met again for their engagement session. This time, I got to meet Chris! They arrived at the location with their cute dogs. Even though the sweet little pups was a handful, Chris still could not take his eyes off of Rachel. They were so sweet to each other and he wouldn’t mind taking care of her, holding her dress or helping her walk through the side walk while sweating under the 90+ degree heat.
The wedding day came. I was walking back to the bridal’s room from the outdoor session with Rachel’s family when Chris walked in. He looked nervous! I mean I didn’t blame him, it was one of the most important day of his life. We hung out, we took pictures – that seemed to loose him up a little bit. But I could feel that he was shaking holding Rachel’s hand being on different sides of a door right before they walked down the aisle. Rachel had on an absolutely beautiful a-line wedding dress. She did her own make-up and hair. They were both beautiful on that day.
Right before the ceremony, it was a little rain. But that does not make anyone feel discouraged. The guests could not wait for the bride and groom to walk. Chris was ready. He stood at the altar waiting for Rachel. He was nervous. He was sweating. Maybe a little shaky, too. And here came Rachel. Escorted by her Dad, she couldn’t look happier. And they got married!
The night was full of love, dancing and laughters. Rachel and Chris was surrounded by so many dear friends and family who them gave wishes, hugs, and kisses. Everybody danced the night away. I am sure that was one of the best nights for both Rachel and Chris. And that will be the one when they will tell their children, their grandchildren about for the years to come.

I started my photography business purely with my passion for photography. A friend of mine asked me to do his wedding when I was in college and I fell in love. I love the emotions, the laughter, the tears, the chemistry between people in weddings.
